Hosted by the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH) and held in the opulent festive hall of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) where Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 was first performed, the 22nd annual conference of the European Federation of National Institutions for Language (EFNIL) focused on the theme of language norms and linguistic justice in a multilingual world and included talks from representatives of a number of EFNIL members countries (22-24 October 2025).
