From CRISPR whole genome to small scale compound screening the facility contains all the equipment and expertise
Established in 2006, we house all robotic equipment for large scale liquid handling and also hold screening libraries.
Screening Equipment
About
The Cybio Felix is a liquid handling system that is full programmable allowing flexible assay development for screening projects. The platform includes plate stackers, a Thermo SMART MultiDrop and a Carry system to move plates between them.

- Works with 96 and 384 well plate but any plate type can be used
- Stamp out compounds, si/shRNA and CRISPR libraries from master plates to daughter plates
- Serial dilution column wise across plate
- Cherry picking

- Genome-wide siRNA library – Pools of 3 siRNAs from Ambion (251x 96 well plates or 63x 384 well plates)
- Genome-wide siRNA library – Pools of 4 siRNAs from Qiagen
miRNA
- miRNA library – 328 pre-miRNAs & anti miRNAs from Ambion
- miRNA library – 837 miRNAs (Sanger V11) from Qiagen (12x 96 well plates in triplicate or 3x 384 well plates in triplicate)
Compound
- FDA Approved library
- Peptidomimetics Library (12,000 small molecules) - 37x 384 Plate format @ 10mM and 1mM in DMSO. ChemDiv
