Ana Esteves (International Banking and Finance Law LLM, 2023) has built an international career at the intersection of finance, law, and business transformation. After more than a decade with the Capgemini Group, she has recently joined Thales as part of its Cybersecurity premium Services global leadership team.

Ana's professional journey reflects a continuous evolution - from her early years in consulting, finance, and legal advisory to leading large-scale transformation programmes for global organizations. At Capgemini Group, she held senior leadership roles spanning Latin America, Europe, and APAC, driving strategic finance initiatives, investors relations, and operational excellence.  She later managed a global IT budget of over half a billion euros, led venture and partnership activities within Capgemini Ventures, and directed key streams in the Group's Workforce Transformation programme.  Most recently, she led a consulting team supporting a global bank in the 1 billion EUR carve-out of its insurance business in France.

Ana completed her LLM in International Banking and Finance Law at QMUL CCLS, an experience she describes as intellectually transformative and enriching. The programme deepened her understanding of financial regulation, international transactions, and the legal dimensions of risk and governance.

Reflecting on her journey, Ana has a strong belief that transformation is, above all, a human journey built on trust, clarity, and purpose. She sees her new chapter at Thales as an opportunity to bring together her strategic, financial, and legal expertise to advance cybersecurity - a field central to trust and resilience in the digital age.
