qLegal 2024-2025 Annual Update is Out!
We are delighted to share our 2024–25 Annual Update and give you a flavour of what we got up to. What a year it was!
Some highlights from the annual 2024-205 qLegal update:
qLegal won the 2025 LexisNexis UK University Commercial Impact Award, recognising their forward-thinking approach to legal education and their impact on the wider community.
We launched two new credit-bearing modules (Legal Design and Public Legal Education for Start-Ups), bringing our programmes into the formal curriculum.
Our students interviewed a Sunday Times journalist for our Yours Lawfully podcast.
From shareholder rights and IP protection to commercial contracts and greenwashing, our students delivered workshops and created free videos and written resources to help founders understand and navigate the legal questions that matter most to them.
What does all that mean? The numbers speak for themselves: Since qLegal started, 1,651 students have supported 2,561 start-ups, delivering an estimated £3,233,000 worth of free legal support.
As one of our students, Anna Massy, put it: "π½ππππππ ππΏππππ π€ππ πππ ππ π‘βπ ππππ ππππ πππ πΌ πβππ π π‘π π π‘π’ππ¦ ππ‘ ππππΏ."
