CCLS alumna Uzma Ashraf Barton has published her work on International Economic Order and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative in "Global Economic Governance" (Routledge), edited by Simone Raudino & Arlo Poletti (Routledge 2018). The book explores how traditional perceptions of economic development in low-income and mid-income countries have been predominantly influenced by the economic narrative of Western Official Development Assistance.
Uzma studied the Banking and Finance Law LLM at CCLS in 2007/08.
