Between People: Fabric Jewellery as Relational Form
Mixed media jewellery objects, hand-formed structures, metal, freshwater pear, silk cord and traditional Pankou craft techniques, 2026.
Between People is a contemporary fabric jewellery project exploring human relationships through abstract form and natural material tension. Rather than representing fixed identities, the works focus on emotional movement — connection, distance, resonance, protection, and becoming.
Through hand-formed structures influenced by traditional Pankou craft practices, the project considers how relationships leave traces on the body and imagination. Positioned within the context of law and aesthetics, the works reflect on intimacy as something that cannot be fully standardised or replicated, existing instead through sensitivity, variation, and lived experience.
