Bruna Alvarez's research interests include include motherhood, reproduction, sexualities, and childhoods. Since 2017, she has been leading the SexAFIN research project on sexuality and childhood in Catalonia (Spain), Ciudad Juárez (Mexico), and Río de Janeiro and Manaus (Brasil), asking children what they know about sexuality.
