Profile
My research is in political theory, focusing on childhood, family life, education, and social justice. I examine how liberal and egalitarian theories should understand children’s interests, parent-child relationships, civic education, and justice between generations. My recent work develops a relational account of parenting and childhood, challenging approaches that judge families primarily by their effects on children’s future outcomes. I also build interdisciplinary collaborations through the Centre for Childhoods and Social Justice, linking philosophical work with empirical, legal, policy, and practitioner-facing research.
