Profile

Katie is a transdisciplinary Research Fellow in Children’s Geographies whose work centres children’s lived experiences of environmental change. Grounded in three decades of practice across social care, youth, and education, her research is shaped by therapeutic, creative, and outdoor approaches and a strong commitment to justice and participation. She leads and contributes to innovative UK and international projects with children and communities living with climate disruption, and plays an active role in fostering inclusive research cultures at Loughborough University.
