Profile

I am an Associate Professor of Child Welfare in the Department of Social Work at NTNU. With a background in social anthropology and Childhood Studies, I have more than ten years of experience in the development and humanitarian sectors, working on children’s rights, education, and child protection. My research uses participatory qualitative methods to explore how children and families in marginalised contexts experience rights and wellbeing in everyday life, with particular focus on belonging, identity, migration, and welfare services.
