These skills are highly prized in today’s job market, across all sectors. 

Through highly interactive, hands-on sessions, you’ll apply these approaches to a real-world service design case study, exploring how user needs, systems, and stakeholder experiences can be understood and improved. Working in teams, you’ll co-create, collaborate, and design impactful solutions that reflect real professional contexts—whether in academia, industry, the public sector, or when working with external organisations and partners beyond academia. 

This fast-paced, immersive experience requires full commitment over both days. You’ll work closely with peers to tackle complex challenges, develop creative problem-solving strategies, and gain practical skills that can be further developed and applied in a wide range of work settings and career pathways. 

In this intensive two-day, in-person workshop, you will: 

  • Break down complex, real-world challenges using design thinking and service design approaches.
