Profile
Prof. Yue Chen is a Professor of Telecommunications Engineering in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).
She is the Director of Scholarship, leading initiatives in curriculum innovation, educational research, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. She also serves as Senior Advisor for Transnational Education on the Joint Programme between QMUL and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).
She is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a Chartered Engineer with the IET.
Research
Research Interests:
My research spans wireless communications, including intelligent radio resource management, mobile edge computing, IoT and next-generation networks, and scholarship of teaching and learning, with a focus on active learning, student transition, and the pedagogical use of AI. I am particularly interested in developing frameworks that enhance both technological innovation and student learning in higher education.
