Every year Clarivate identifies the world’s most influential researchers, a select group who have demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last year.
The annual list identifies some 7,000 researchers from across the globe who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. The Highly Cited Researchers’ names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science citation index, and the list identifies the research institutions and countries where they are based.
Professor Nallanathan has been recognised as a Highly Cited Researcher in the Computer Science field for the fourth consecutive time. He is one of 119 researchers from this field to be included on the list and one of only 12 researchers listed from the UK.
Reflecting on his nomination, he said: "I would like to thank all my current and past PhD students, research associates, research collaborators and CSR group members at Queen Mary University London. I could not have achieved this prestigious international recognition without their support.”
