Performance artist Stacy Makishi is developing a new one-to-one work, ‘Folding and Holding – An Octagon Ritual’, as part of a residency with Queen Mary Arts and Culture.

Stacy has been in residence this week in the historic Grade II listed Octagon building built in 1887. She has been exploring themes of thinking and reading, inspired by the brightly coloured leather bound books and the busts of famous literati looking down from the beautiful high domed ceiling.

In this one-to-one interactive experience, Stacy leads you through an immersive ritual. The experience will happen in half hour slots from 11am - 6pm. Please book your slot here via Eventbrite and arrive 5 minutes before your start time. There will be a space designated to keep your belongings safe.
