This webinar will help you to understand the differences between learning at school and university and consider the essential skills required to be successful in higher education; from note taking to finding appropriate academic sources. 

We will cover:

• How learning at University is different to school/college 
• Note taking 
• Finding academic sources 
• Time keeping and organisation 
• What you can do now to prepare yourself for university study 
• Academic support available at university 

We will joined by current Queen Mary students who will share their experiences of academic study and share tips and advice and answer any of your questions. 

This session is at year 12 and 13 students.
