Wild-Live Streaming Event

Speaker: Kirsten Fairweather, Scientific Coordinator for Project Biodiversity

At this unique event, GCSE students will discover how international conservation NGOs are working to protect endangered species. They will also have the opportunity to explore career pathways in biodiversity conservation.

Event will include:

  • Live Q&A with Kirsten Fairweather, Scientific Coordinator of the Marine Turtle Protection Programme at our featured conservation NGO, Project Biodiversity (her background, career path, NGO role).
  • Exclusive footage of wildlife on Sal, Cape Verde and Project Biodiversity’s work to protect it.
  • A virtual sea turtle hatchery tour.
  • Opportunity to chat to Queen Mary scientists, as well as try out our award-winning Atlantis Virtual Reality sea turtle experience.
