Introduction to Policy Engagement and Impact

The Mile End Institute is pleased to present its Introduction to Policy Engagement and Impact online training. This webinar introduces students, staff, and academics to foundational knowledge of academic-policy engagement, including the policy ecosystem, key stakeholders, and ways to achieve policy impact.

Topics:

  • Principles of academic-policy engagement
  • The benefits of policy engagement for academics
  • Identifying policymakers in different contexts (i.e. who to engage with)
  • Routes for academics to engage with local, national and international policymakers (i.e. how you can generate policy engagement)

Please note: This session is being offered on two dates to accommodate as many schedules as possible. The same content is being delivered at both sessions, so please only register for one date. The sessions will be recorded and the slides will be circulated ahead of time.
