Participating in the Barts Health Project allowed me to both apply and develop key skills essential to the heritage sector, including research, teamwork, and public engagement. Through this experience, I gained a greater appreciation of how history, particularly in the context of healthcare, can be preserved, interpreted, and shared with contemporary audiences. It deepened my understanding of the ethical and practical considerations involved in heritage work, especially when dealing with sensitive or institutional histories. Most importantly, the project strengthened my confidence in working with historical material, provided concrete examples of impactful public history, and helped me build a professional network that has supported my continued growth in the heritage and cultural sectors.— Niranda Morris, Heritage Management
qHeritage helped me bridge academic learning with real world consultancy, building skills that directly enhance my professional readiness.— Rishi Kumawat, MSc Management
This project will require a lot of learning and hard work, but I'm excited by this challenge and I am looking forward to working with such an excellent team on this highly impactful and unique project.— Zephyr Boney-Hundal, History and Politics
