From Principles to Practice: Making Wind Energy a Reality - Experiences and Lessons of an In-House Lawyer
An Energy & Climate Change Law Institute Thursday Lecture
Pippa is Senior Legal Counsel in-house at Equinor, supporting its UK portfolio within the newly-created Power business, which saw renewables and flexible generation projects merged into the same team. She predominantly provides legal advice to the operating offshore wind farms as well as the Dogger Bank projects: whether that is in development, through construction, during operations and now towards end-of-life planning for some. Having previously spent 15 years in international law firms and specialising in energy dispute resolution, Pippa's remit now spans the traditional in-house gamut. She therefore finds plenty of opportunity to leverage her experience in contractual analysis, risk mitigation and claims management.
