Aung San Suu Kyi to defend Myanmar on genocide claims

Visiting Scholar, Dr Ronan Lee appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss Aung San Suu Kyi’s decision to defend Myanmar against charges of the Rohingya genocide.

Dr Lee said: “It means that she is prepared, even though she is not required to constitutionally, she is prepared to defend the actions that most people consider genocide.”
