Professor Duncan Matthews comments on ratification of the Unified Patent Court Agreement by Germany and Slovenia

On 30 September 2021 Duncan Matthews, Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London, was interviewed by Science|Business magazine. He argued that, following this week’s ratification of an agreement to establish a new Unified Patent Court (UPC) by Germany and Slovenia, a new diplomatic conference is needed to consider ways of to include the UK and other non-EU European countries in the UPC.
