This was part of the inquiry into the growth of private markets in the UK, in which Professor Lastra is acting as specialist adviser to the House of Lords Financial Services Regulation Committee.

Students had the opportunity to hear oral evidence from two panels featuring representatives from the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), M&G plc, Ares Management Corporation, Blackstone, and Apollo Global Management.

The visit provided LLM students with a valuable chance to see how the concepts covered in RFM are applied in practice, linking academic theory with real-world regulatory and market discussions.
