Dr Gur delivered the seminar as part of a workshop series of the Lisbon Legal Theory forum at the University of Lisbon.

The seminar was attended by legal theorists, public law academics, and scholars from other fields. It included a presentation by Gur of his working paper ‘Obedience to Law vs Obedience to State Officials’, which deals with the ethics of obedience at the interface between law and state power. The presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session where the audience engaged with Gur’s analysis through a range of questions and reflections.
