Research degree supervisors

Access essential information and forms for staff involved in the supervision of research degree students and related administration.


You should read this page in conjunction with the QMUL Academic Regulations (under teaching, learning and assessment policy category) and the Code of Practice for Research Degree Programmes (under research policy category), where you will find the regulations pertaining to research degrees and the responsibilities of supervisors and Directors of Graduate Studies. The requirements for research degrees (MPhil, PhD, MD(Res), DrPS and DClinDent) are set out in Appendix 1 of the Academic Regulations. All students are required to be familiar with the College’s  and Procedures, and should be directed to our research ethics page if it is at all possible that their research will require ethical approval.
