Starting your postgraduate journey can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. The Meet Your Advisor event is designed especially for January-intake postgraduate students, offering a relaxed and welcoming introduction to the support available to you.

Starting your postgraduate journey can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. This informal Meet Your Advisor event is designed especially for January-intake postgraduate students.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet your assigned Academic Advisor and Pastoral Advisor (from the Student Experience Team) in a relaxed and welcoming setting. This is a great chance to ask questions about your studies, course structure, modules, assessments, projects, and any support you may need throughout your time at university - and beyond.

The event is also a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow postgraduate students on your programme, build your network, and start forming meaningful academic and social connections.

Food and drinks will be provided, including a selection of desserts, so come along, enjoy the refreshments, and get to know the people who will be supporting you throughout your postgraduate journey.
