The School of Business and Management recently hosted a dynamic series of webinars designed to explore the major forces shaping the world of business.

Held from 28 October to 6 November 2025, the series brought together Queen Mary’s leading academics, programme directors, and international audiences for insightful discussions on the challenges and opportunities driving change in business and management today. Each of the seven sessions offered a glimpse into how Queen Mary’s postgraduate programmes prepare students to lead with confidence in a fast-evolving, digital, and global world.

2026: Challenges and Opportunities in Creative Industries

This session explored the evolving landscape of the cultural and creative economy - from heritage management to arts entrepreneurship and how Queen Mary’s unique programmes equip students for leadership roles in these sectors. Led by: Dr Amit Rai, Dr Ed Legon and  Dr Gavin Grindon.


Startup Stories: Turning Ideas into Impact

From scaling start-ups to driving social innovation, this webinar explored how Queen Mary supports students to think creatively, act boldly, and turn business ideas into ventures that make an impact. Led by Dr Gloria Appiah and Dr Sayed Elhoushy.
