From the Entrepreneurship Hub's Social StartUp Challenge to an Award-Winning Venture
A student on the MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management programme, who was part of one of the winning teams in the Entrepreneurship Hub's Social StartUp Challenge, presented the startup idea from the Hub at an IGNITE Impact training and competition.

Renata Dore, a student on the MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management programme, was part of one of the winning teams in the 's Social StartUp Challenge. The team developed Cortexa, a digital mobile platform designed to help parents track and better understand childhood behavioural patterns.
Building on this success, Renata went on to participate in the IGNITE Impact training and competition, organised by the Bromley by Bow Centre, a charity offering over 40 services and activities to their local community. IGNITE is the UK's national platform for emerging social entrepreneurs.
Taking the venture forward beyond the Challenge, Cortexa was selected as one of the winning ideas at the competition, earning the team a £1,000 award.
