Queen Mary's Entrepreneurship Hub launches applications for QMUL ReMAKE student advisor cohort 2026–27
Students at Queen Mary University of London are invited to apply for the 2026–27 cohort of the QMUL ReMAKE programme, an initiative designed to foster inclusive entrepreneurship while supporting individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

Delivered by Queen Mary’s Entrepreneurship Hub through the Centre for Second Chances and Inclusive Entrepreneurship (CSCiE), in partnership with Project ReMAKE, the programme brings together students and prison-leavers in a collaborative learning environment. Participants take on the role of student advisors, working directly with aspiring entrepreneurs to develop business ideas, build confidence, and navigate the challenges of starting anew.
Over the course of 12 weeks, students are paired with an entrepreneur and meet weekly for structured online sessions. Running on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the programme will take place between late January and mid-April 2027. Students are expected to attend all sessions and actively contribute to a supportive, judgement-free space.
The initiative offers a unique opportunity for Queen Mary students to gain practical experience in entrepreneurship, while also developing a deeper understanding of the social and economic barriers faced by prison-leavers. By working closely with participants, students play a key role in promoting inclusive innovation and strengthening pro-social communities.
Applications are open to all Queen Mary students and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The first round of applications closes on Friday 24 April 2026.
