The main highlight was the research opportunity. My dissertation gave me an opportunity to work with my supervisor on an active clinical trial and I absolutely loved it and really, really enjoyed it. It gave me the opportunity to write scientifically and I'm really excited to continue a research career in the future. It's prepared me a lot in terms of scrutinising research papers, critical appraisals, methodology, and just being able to read a research paper and actually understand the thought process behind it. So I really, really appreciated this course.— Emmanuella Adu, MSc Critical Care
