West Smithfield Library Accessibility Suite Refresh
Work has now been completed to refresh the Assistive Technology Room at West Smithfield, with a number of improvements introduced to enhance both accessibility and user comfort.

The project was developed following a review of the space and a series of recommendations aimed at creating a more supportive and welcoming environment for students. The refurbishment focused on improving the usability of the room while also making the space feel more comfortable and inclusive for those using it.
As part of the works, the desk has been repositioned to improve the ergonomics and layout of the room. New blinds, a heater, a lamp, and artificial plants have also been installed to create a calmer and more welcoming atmosphere.
As part of the refresh, the room has also been rebranded as the Accessibility Suite. The suite is now available to book via LibCal.
