Alex is the Public Engagement Lead and manages the CPE, working with the team on strategy and building partnerships to support public engagement practice across the university.
Alex joined Queen Mary in 2023, working as manager of the QM Centre for Creative Collaboration. Prior to that he was the Creative Engagement Manager at Rich Mix where he collaborated with many east London charities and cultural organisations on engagement projects.
Before working in higher education, Alex spent 15 years in the cultural sector working with organisations including the BBC, National Theatre, Old Vic, Birmingham Rep, Lyric Hammersmith and Young Vic.
