The Queen Mary internal Public Engagement Network was established in 2026 and aims to bring together staff who regularly engage with public groups outside of QMUL - including those working in public engagement, community engagement, patient and public involvement, outreach and widening participation, and participatory research.

The network aims to bring colleagues together, to enable connection, to make visible the breadth and variety of engagement work taking place, to enable practice sharing and ways of working, share updates and news, and to offer advice and support around engagement.

The network meets quarterly, with hosting responsibilities of meetings shared by members.
