Profile

Dr Cristina Cioffi is Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Programme Director for the MSc Psychology: Mental Health Sciences.

She is an experienced educator in mental health, having taught across a range of academic and professional training programmes. With extensive clinical experience, she has a passion for teaching evidence-based psychological interventions, particularly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy.

Dr Cioffi holds a BSc, MSc and PhD in Psychology. She is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and an Accredited Professional Psychotherapist with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and serves as a reviewer and mentor for the Queen Mary Academy Teaching Recognition programme.
