Title: Stochastic inflation and primordial black holes as dark matter
Abstract:
Primordial black holes were proposed as a dark matter candidate already by Stephen Hawking in 1971, and have become popular recently. They could also help serve as the seeds of the supermassive black holes we see at early times, and have strong connection to various aspects of astrophysics. I will discuss how to generate primordial black hole seeds from inflation, and why stochastic effects are important.
