Instructions: Students can choose one of the programmes listed below. Please first apply to Queen Mary following the procedure for tuition-free spaces. Description: The iSummerMX Programs are an itinerant academic experience for students who love traveling and learning about new cultures. You’ll visit several Tec de Monterrey campuses in different cities over 4 weeks, learning about multiple, diverse regions of Mexico. Each program/course has special activities, conferences and trips that will make the experience unforgettable! EH1014 - Violence, Dignity and Social Justice
In this course, students will identify societal problems such as exploitation, vulnerability, and expressions of violence, describing the ethical elements involved in the situation and approaching them from elementary notions of ethics, personal beliefs, customs, or traditions. In this course, students analyze international conflicts, such as the ones that arose in the 19th century worldwide, the First and Second World Wars, and the Cold War, considering their causes and consequences, as well as the actors involved, their interests, positions and strategic decisions. Students will evaluate discriminatory discourse and practices, applying discourse analysis tools from the perspective of multiculturality.

The GEM Trailblazer Summer 2025 programme offers more than 20 courses across 5 tracks (subject areas). Courses shall be entirely taught in English except the language courses. 

Singapore Management University (SMU)

The Summer Exchange Program at KU offers a broad range of courses in English, both on undergraduate and graduate level taught by an international team of experienced lecturers. Students who are enrolled in a partner institution as a full-degree-seeking student are waived from the tuition fee for this program.

Application procedure and documents:

In order to receive a tuition free space on Koc University’s Summer Exchange Programme, students will need to complete Queen Mary’s GO Summer application form. The GPO team will then nominate the students to KU who have been selected by the GPO team and who have accepted their offers. All Queen Mary students who are nominated to KU:

• Should have a valid passport, recent passport-sized photograph, and HEAR transcript ready to provide Koç
  
• Once you are nominated, you will receive an e-mail with your log-in credentials. With this e-mail, you can immediately begin the application process and upload the required documents. Once the application period is over, all applications will be reviewed and the applicants will be notified both through e-mail and on the application portal.
