The Queen Mary Academy Festival of Education 2026 will take place across two days and booking is now open for Day Two.
Day one of our flagship conference for Educators at Queen Mary took place on Thursday 12th March. We had a terrific keynote talk from Tom Lowe (Reader, University of Westminster and Chair of the UK-wide RAISE network) on student engagement followed by the first ever Great Queen Mary Debate: "Student Engagement- a Shared Responsibility". In the afternoon we hosted a World Cafe-type session in the Octagon showcasing the range of professional development opportunities the Queen Mary Academy provides in partnership with our educator community.
Day Two takes place on Tuesday 9 June and will focus on interactive sessions, offering opportunities to connect with colleagues and learn more about the exciting work taking place across the institution. The Festival will conclude with our popular poster showcase exhibition celebrating educational scholarship across Queen Mary. Expressions of interest for posters are now open via this form.
