When designing a Moodle course, it is important to be selective about the blocks you use. While it can be tempting to add lots of blocks, too many can create clutter and make it harder for students to find what they need. A small number of well-chosen blocks that support navigation, communication, and engagement will often provide far more value than a page full of features that students rarely use.
In this session, we'll explore common Moodle blocks and consider how to choose the ones that genuinely enhance the student experience.
We’re delighted to introduce a new feature as part of our AskTELT in 20 drop-in sessions. Throughout August, our Monday sessions will become TELT Spotlight, a focused 30-minute training session designed to help you pick up practical tips and tools.
Starting Monday 3rd August, each session will run from 1:00pm–1:30pm, with the option to stay for an additional 30 minutes for Q&A and hands-on practice.
