QMplus Hub Upgrade 2026

QMplus Hub update: What to expect

QMplus Hub will be upgraded on Tuesday 7th July 2026, moving from version 25.04.4 to 26.04. Please note that QMplus Hub will be unavailable throughout the day while the upgrade takes place. 

The new version introduces a range of improved features and enhancements. You can find out more by watching this webinar. 

We will begin testing the upgraded version in early June. If you are interested in helping us test the new features, please get in touch by emailing telt@qmul.ac.uk. 

Rebranding QMplus Hub to Mahara

As part of the upcoming upgrade, QMplus Hub will be rebranded as Mahara. This change will help clearly differentiate between QMplus, the university’s Moodle platform, and Mahara, the e-portfolio platform, reducing confusion between the two systems. 

The rebrand will take place alongside the scheduled upgrade to help minimise disruption for users.
