All our MSc programmes offer comprehensive training in finance or economics, but they vary by entry requirements, quantitative level, and career focus. See the table below.

Students who do not meet the entry requirements for any of our MScs can consider the Pre-Masters Graduate Diploma in Economics and Finance (6 or 12 month versions), MSc Investment and Finance with Integrated Pre-Masters, or MSc Banking and Finance with Integrated Pre-Masters. Successful completion of the Diploma will allow you to enter one of our MSc programmes.

We provide opportunities for professional skills development through our student-led investment fund, interactive live simulations of practical tasks from careers in finance, and practically focused professional development modules. We also provide extensive careers support services.

We offer a range of scholarships for applicants with overseas fee status, including the following, for which you will be automatically considered.1
  • many scholarships of £5,000-£7,000 (high chance of obtaining one)
  • guaranteed £7,000 for applicants admitted to an MSc with a Year in Industry

[1] There are three global scholarships—the Global Financial Leaders Scholarship (GFL), the Global Talent Scholarship (GTS), and the Global Excellence Scholarship (GES). The scholarship will be applied automatically to students who meet the requirements.  The scholarship will be deducted from a recipient’s tuition fees when they enrol at Queen Mary.
