I have a background in public health, epidemiology, environmental health, medical history, early childhood development, and infectious disease. Before joining Queen Mary, I worked as a data scientist in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. I also worked as an epidemiologist in the UK Health Security Agency’s COVID-19 Epidemiology Cell during the emergency phase of the pandemic.
Prior to emigrating to the UK, I spent four years working as a research consultant for Alacrity Development in Cape Town, South Africa. I also worked as a research assistant in the Centre for Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Cape Town.
