Profile

I am a postdoctoral research associate in epidemiology funded by the NIHR to work on the Safety of Medicines in Pregnancy programme grant, led by Professor Julia Hippisley-Cox. The programme’s ultimate aim is to develop a system to help doctors and women understand the safety of taking different medicines in pregnancy. For that, we are using a novel approach that links multiple electronic health records datasets (e.g. GP data, HES maternity, HES-APC, MSDS, Congenital Abnormalities, ONS, etc.). Currently, I work at the Centre for Primary Care within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health.

Research

Research Interests:

My research interests include the use of real-world data and the application of robust scientific methodology to investigate disease patterns, exposures, and outcomes across diverse populations. Ultimately, my ambition is to contribute to producing high-quality research outputs to support the improvement of clinical practices and positively impact populations’ health.
