Profile
I am a GP with an interest in global health and health inequalities. I completed my medical degree at the University of Leeds, followed by Foundation training in London and New Zealand and GP training in Barking, Havering and Redbridge. My primary care clinical work has been based across east London, including supporting the development of the community COVID service in Newham. I have also worked with Médecins Sans Frontières and Doctors of the World supporting people seeking asylum in London and Essex.
I have a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and a Master’s in Global Health from the University of Barcelona. Internationally, I have worked with NGOs in Malawi, Panama and Cambodia carrying out clinical and quality improvement work. I am currently working on the safety of medicines in pregnancy, contributing to quantitative analyses of primary care data and qualitative research on women's and clinician’s experiences. I work clinically as a GP in Barking.
