The William Harvey Research Institute - Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry

Projects

Recruited students are able to select their specific topic of study from a wide range of PhD projects offered by our world‑leading academic research staff.

Available projects reflect the full spectrum of biomedical research activity taking place within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, all underpinned by the goal of delivering research that has a real impact on health‑related problems for the benefit of East London and the wider global population. Projects range from laboratory‑based molecular research to population health studies, and from cardiovascular research to cancer. Research projects may also be further developed if selected by a student, depending on individual interests. In addition, all projects undergo ongoing co‑development through patient and public involvement and engagement.
