How to Purchase IT Equipment

Using e-marketplace: Please note, only colleagues with ‘buyer’ permissions in Agresso can access the e-marketplace. We advise working with local administration/finance staff to place orders. ITS fund up to £1300 per device per staff member. The additional is funded locally by departments and will require departmental approval

If a second device is required, this would need to be funded locally

Laptop docks, including DELL Hub monitor and standard USB-C

(Replacements for existing hub monitors / docking stations on shared / NWOW desks and for individual office requests.)

New desks should be discussed with Estates and Facilities (Space Management Team) before contacting IT Services.

IT Services are committed to providing all staff members with one device, with laptops being the primary device.

Hub monitors / docking stations are provided on best endeavours within the budget envelope of ITS for all shared on-campus desk identified as a NWOW desk (laptops take budget priority).

Non-NWOW desks, such as private offices, are funded locally.

New NWOW spaces must be discussed with Estates and Facilities (Space Management Team) before contacting IT Services.

To inform ITS of breakage or need for replacement, please raise a ServiceNow ticket. The item will be collected by ITS from the desk. N/A, as allocated per desk not staff member IT Services are aware that some shared/ NWOW desks are not set up to the correct specification – this is due to budget constraints. Please bear with us whilst we try and work through this backlog.
