Tell Us About Your Journey

The high infant mortality rate in Pakistan inspired me to develop an AI-based infant incubator solution aimed at improving neonatal care and saving lives. One of the biggest challenges I faced was launching this startup during the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to halt our research and development activities. However, by applying the leadership, networking, and character-building skills I gained from my education at Queen Mary University, I was able to overcome these obstacles and continue driving the project forward.

The Power of Community

The theme “Together We Build” perfectly represents my entrepreneurial journey. At Queen Mary University, I was surrounded by mentors and peers who inspired me to think boldly and collaborate with purpose. Their encouragement helped transform my vision of developing AI-based infant incubators—aimed at reducing Pakistan’s high infant mortality rate—into a tangible project.

When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our research, it was the guidance and support from my Queen Mary community that kept me focused and motivated. They reminded me that meaningful innovation is built on shared effort, resilience, and compassion. Through their mentorship, I learned that true leadership is about empowering others and working together toward a common goal.

Queen Mary gave me not only the knowledge to create solutions but also the confidence and community spirit to build something that truly makes a difference.
