QIncubator

QIncubator is Queen Mary University of London’s flagship incubator programme designed to help students, graduates, and researchers turn early-stage ideas into viable businesses.

With a focus on ventures aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, students and graduates will be supported to turn ideas or research into validated, revenue-generating or investment-ready ventures.

The programme builds entrepreneurial capability across the university community and connects founders to follow-on funding opportunities—strengthening Queen Mary’s pipeline of student and graduate startups.

Teams will be given hands-on learning to build their businesses, with mentorship and funding opportunities along the way.  Teams will pitch for a share of up to £20,000 at the final.

Tips for Making a Good Application

  • You can click to download the programme application questions in advance from Careers Hub. We recommend preparing your answers in MS Word before submitting online.
  • Please format your answers into clear and concise bullet points for readability.
  • If you are a graduate, make sure you have set up your graduate Careers Hub account well in advance of the deadline (this is different than your student account) as this can take a bit of time – we cannot accept applications that have been submitted any other way but through Careers Hub, or applications that have been submitted after the deadline
  • All answers must be copied and pasted into the Careers Hub form to be accepted.  Do not email us the downloaded word document.
