Financial Support

Appointed BBSRC DFA students will be supported for 4-year by:

• Tax-free annual stipend of £22,780 (increasing in subsequent years).
• Paid tuition fees.
• Research training support grant.
• Conference fund.
• Access to the DFA Flexible Award scheme to help fund a wide range of research and training activities.

Students will also be able to apply to the University’s Postgraduate Research Fund for additional conference travel funding.
