Projects and Partners
Recruited students will be able to select their specific topic of study from a range of PhD projects designed by our world leading academic research staff (for CASE projects this will be in conjunction with partners). Projects will focus on research that advances machine-learning methods to analyses multi-modal spatial biology data to address key biological questions. More specifically, all projects will aim to develop advanced AI approaches - for example, deep learning, graph neural networks, generative or explainable models - applied to forward looking spatial-omics challenges such as 3D segmentation, data fusion, or cell-cell interaction analysis. There will also be scope for evolution and co-design of projects to ensure a close match with students’ interests.
