Leaver Process and Termination Form

When a line manager is made aware of their direct report's resignation, they need to complete the termination form (linked below) and send this to the relevant HR Operations team’s central inbox along with the resignation. The HR Operations team will then process this for payroll and send out a letter to the leaver with instructions on next steps.

Exit procedures will include off boarding activities, the rescinding of access to sensitive and software content, and the return of QMUL materials and equipment.

Please note that it is of utmost importance that the section on ‘Activity and Location after Leaving’ in the form is completed before it is sent to the HR Operations team as this feeds into the University's reportable HESA data.
